Gratitude Rock 53

9 Feb

Leiza Alpass (Bristol, UK) to Ian Sparks (Bristol, UK)

Hey Ian, here is your gratitude rock.  Thank you Ian for your love and friendship over the years.  I appreciate you for encouraging me to do the diving course and then for being a second ‘look out buddy’ when we had our amazing holiday in Antigua.  Thank you also for introducing me to physical training with a structure, plan and goal!  This knowledge I still call upon today, especially now that I am taking on the London Marathon this year.  Thank you Ian.  Love Leizax

    Dearest Leiza
I am very pleased and honoured to have been sent one of our inspirational gratitude rocks, number 53, especially as I know how long this must have taken to do as a project, but the simple ideas are often the best ones and are often worth the effort, and this simple idea is just so typical of you – thoughtful, loving, and always thinking of others.

I am thinking of you lots today as I watch on tv the tens of thousands of runners having fun and raising money for charities by running in the London marathon and I am glad, if even in some small way, I may have helped in your training and motivation towards the huge achievement of training to complete the 26 tough miles, and now I am looking forward to hearing all about it.

Thank you Leiza for being a dear friend, you are one of the best and a ‘rock’ that inspires us all!

    Love Ian xxxxx
PS I was tempted to keep the rock as it means a lot to me, but then i realised that by passing it on I will make someone else feel special too, so I have a person in mind and it will be forwarded with love shortly.
